Everycar is a car search engine designed to make the process of finding a car on the internet easier for the user. It maps the huge selection of offerings available on the internet in one extensive database by referencing listings originating from car boards and large specialist car sites. Using a fast and straightforward interface, users can query this database and save themselves the trouble of visiting each site individually. The offerings themselves are not hosted by Everycar and users are always redirected to the original listing. Essentially, Everycar acts as traffic driver to those sites. Our search engine network encompasses over 90 countries, featuring separate interfaces that are translated into 28 languages.
Our technology
Everycar uses smart agents running on a cluster of networked computers that scan the web and identify listings on the internet such as on small car websites which may only display few ads or on larger boards that feature thousands of ads. Those listings are then scanned daily and the ads found are added to the cars index. Over 511 websites are scanned every day.
